Every year 300,000 people in China die from a preventable disease.

In China, more than 120 million people carry the Hepatitis B virus. Despite its pervasiveness, few are educated about its causes and transmission, creating an atmosphere of widespread discrimination and fear.

“A Silent Killer” follows the lives of 4 families that are affected by Hepatitis B, fusing their personal stories into a compelling narrative of tenacity and hope in the face of tragedy.
